Friday Night Flashback Y2K edition

Every Friday night at 10, Amber Star hosts the Friday Night Flashback, sponsored by Funk's Pub in Fitchburg. This year she's taking us back to the year 2000!
Remember when you were a kid and calculated how old you were in 2000? Well you're a lot older than that now!
That was the year we all found out that the Y2K bug was no big deal. The presidential election was a big deal though--and Al Gore wound up losing to George W. Bush, with help from the Florida Supreme Court.
New TV shows included Malcolm in the Middle and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, starting off a lucrative royalty deal for The Who. Almost Famous, Cast Away and Wonder Boys were big at the box office.
