Start saving your money vinyl lovers, because Record Store Day 2022 is coming!
The event will be held at independent record stores on April 23rd, returning to a one day event for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
There's a little something for everybody on this year's list, but here are a few that I thought were interesting.
Black Pumas: collectors edition of 7-inch singles, including a remix of the song "Colors"
Ray Charles "Genius Loves Company." This album, originally released after his death in 2004, was the best selling album of his career and is available now on vinyl. Includes duets with Van Morrison, James Taylor, Norah Jones and others.
Sara Bareilles "Little Voice" this is a 15th anniversary edition of her best selling major label debut and includes the song "Love Song."
Lumineers "Bright Side Bonus Tracks" 4 songs, including a cover of The Cure's "Just Like Heaven."
Stevie Nicks "Belladonna" This 2 LP set is remastered and includes B-sides and demos.
Red Hot Chili Peppers "Unlimited Love" this special edition is on silver vinyl and includes an exclusive poster.
Van McCoy "The Hustle" Are you ready to disco down? The song I had to dance to in gym class in junior high, plus two remixes on 12" vinyl.
