It's a Roll The Dice weekend on 105.5 Triple M!
Starting at 3 Friday afternoon, we'll start every hour by rolling the dice. Whatever number comes up--that's the number of songs by that artist that we'll play--all in a row! What a great reason to listen all weekend long. You know, you can take us anywhere with the Audacy app!
While we wait for the long holiday weekend, here are some fun facts about dice that you may not know:
1. The oldest dice ever discovered were found in an archaeological dig in Iran, part of a backgammon set that was more than 5,000 years old.
2. Dice were originally made from ankle bones of animals.
3. The dots on dice are called "pips."
4. Not all dice are in the form of cubes. They come in all shapes and sizes, including pentagonal trapezohedron. Try saying that three times fast.
5. The Pop-O-Matic dice was originally invented for use in the game Trouble in 1965.
