Somehow Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and the rest of the wild Jackass cast of characters still have all of their fingers and toes intact, and they're intent on bringing another round of brutality to the big screen for all of us to point and laugh, and writhe along in pain.
In the past, both the TV and movie series' created by MTV has welcomed musical guests like Henry Rollins and Gwar just to name a few, into the Jackass world. In the latest movie installment of the franchise, Jackass Forever, they're following suit with some of today's biggest stars.
Among the crocodile bites and explosions set to Johnny Cash’s version of “We’ll Meet Again,” in the movie's official trailer we see singer Machine Gun Kelly getting sent flying into a pool after being hit by a giant hand, comedian Eric Andre being surprise-punched in the face by an inflatable bag, tuxedoed rapper Tyler, The Creator withstanding some kind of horrific electric shock, and a whole lot more.
According to the film's IMDb page, the new Jackass movie will also include appearances from singer Post Malone, skateboarding icon Tony Hawk, BMX legend Mat Hoffman, Shaquille O’Neal, and pro wrestler Darby Allin.
One person you may find conspicuously absent from the trailer is the franchise's star, Bam Margera. Bam was removed from the filming of Jackass Forever, due out in October 2021, over alleged substance abuse issues. He has been ordered to stay at least 100 feet away from director Jeff Tremaine and have no contact with Tremaine's wife and children until at least 2024.
