Mark Andrews continues to be bothered by a foot injury and the second-year tight end missed practice for the second straight day.
Andrews has been dealing with this injury for a couple weeks now and it hasn’t hindered his play up to this point. He’s totaled 235 receiving yards and two touchdowns through three games this season.
Andrews was reportedly a ‘50-50’ shot to play before last Sunday’s Week 3 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, but played after testing his foot in pregame warmups. I’m not sure there’s any major concern for Andrews, and I’d expect him to play against the Browns.
It will be interesting to see if the injury lingers with Andrews throughout the season. He’s been one of Lamar Jackson’s favorite targets and a big reason why the offense has been off to a strong start. The Ravens have Hayden Hurst and Nick Boyle, but Andrews is the team’s most talented pass-catching tight end.
