We're getting closer and closer to baseball season and we've got you covered with all things Baltimore Orioles here on 105.7 The Fan. The Orioles recently traded veteran pitcher Alex Cobb to the Angels for prospect second baseman Jahmai Jones who joined Inside Access today.
Jahmai joined Jason and Ken to talk about how he found out about the trade, what his interactions have been with the organization so far and what he expects to play once he takes the field for the team. Jahmai told the guys that after he got the call about the trade, he was excited to join the Orioles but admitted that he was in shock that he just got traded. Jahmai mentioned that he has spoken to Orioles General Manager Mike Elias and that Elias told him the ball club is excited to have him because they have looked at him in the past.
Jahmai was the 7th ranked prospect in the Angels organization.
