Baseball season is approaching fast and we've got you covered on everything Orioles here on 105.7 The Fan. Orioles Assistant General Manager Sig Mejdal joined Inside Access to update the guys on the Orioles rebuild.
Sig joined Jason and Ken to talk about the Orioles rebuild situation, how it compares to the rebuild in Houston and the progress they've made in the analytical department. Sig told the guys that this rebuild is a little more difficult than it was in Houston considering a lot of teams are using their formula. On the flip side, Sig mentioned how their experience in Houston helped prepare them for their current situation in Baltimore thanks to learning from some of their past mistakes. When speaking about the analytical department, Sig told the guys that the team built that department from the ground up and he's very happy with the progress they've made.
Pitchers and catchers report to Sarasota on Feb. 16th.
