Since the cult sci-fi series, "Doctor Who," began running on British TV in 1963, the show has become a sprawling, multi-rebooted fantasy favorite that came and went and came back again over the years.

Given the many seasons and the show's wild, time-traveling motif, a number of actors have played the quirky "Time Lord" space traveler. In fact there have been 14 different actors who've played the part over the years, and each has given the character their own spin.

Most recently, the role has been handed to the first Black actor to play the titular role, Ncuti Gatwa, who previously starred in the Netflix series, "Sex Education." He'll replace Jodie Whittaker who was herself the first female Doctor, and played the alien for five years.

Aside from the leads though, other notable actors have dropped in and out of the Doctor's universe, some going on to greater fame and fortune than many of the show's lead actors.

Using data from CelebrityNetWorth, here's how much the wealthiest "Doctor Who" cast members are worth today, ranked.
