You might have outgrown that Billy bookcase or your dining room table and chairs that you bought at IKEA.

Normally, you'd have to either throw them out or put them up for sale on Facebook Marketplace or eBay. But now, IKEA is ready to take them back.

The store had a temporary program called "Buy Back & Resell" which, as of Friday, is now permanent in every IKEA in the country.

"Do you have IKEA furniture that’s an oldie, but it's still a goodie and looking to retire it? We’ll buy it back and you help pave the way toward sustainable living," reads a description on IKEA's website. "By finding your furniture a new home, we are making the things we love last longer."

You can sell back anything from office drawer cabinets, sideboards, bookcases, small tables, multimedia furniture, cabinets, and other furniture.
However, you cannot return, beds, sofas, mattresses, or lighting among other items.
