Disney announced a Buzz Lightyear origin film on Thursday that will star Chris Evans as the voice actor of the 'Toy Story' character.
'Lightyear' will focus on the story of how Buzz went from being a test pilot to a space hero and it will be directed by Angus MacLane (Finding Dory).

Buzz Lightyear has been voiced by Tim Allen in all four 'Toy Story' films and it's unclear if he's involved in this project. 'Lightyear' hits theaters on June 17, 2022.
