Vanessa Bryant opens up about ‘heartbreaking’ grief ahead of anniversary of Kobe and Gianna’s death

Vanessa Bryant shared an emotional message about her struggle with grief.

With the anniversary of the tragic passing of husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna approaching, Vanessa took to Instagram on Friday to share her feelings on the “heartbreaking loss,” reported TMZ.

“Let me be real — grief is a messed up cluster of emotions,” the 38-year-old shared. “One day, you’re in the moment laughing and the next day you don’t feel like being alive.”

Vanessa also hoped to inspire others going through their own difficulties.

“I want to say this for people struggling with grief and heartbreaking loss,” she added. “Find your reason to live. I know it’s hard. I look at my daughters and I try to push through that feeling for them.”

“Death is guaranteed but living the rest of the day isn’t. Find your reason,” Vanessa concluded.

January 26th will be the one year anniversary since Kobe and 13-year-old Gianna died in a helicopter crash, along with seven other passengers.

In November, Vanessa paid tribute to her late husband on what would have been the 21st anniversary of when they first met.

"Love at first sight 11/27/99 #21," she wrote on her Instagram with an adorable picture of the couple at Disneyland.
