Rodgers was added to the Stars And Strings line-up earlier this week and we couldn't be more excited to watch him perform! With writing credits on major songs by Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean, Jameson has long been known for his songwriting, but more recently proved his credibility as an artist with his first #1, "Some Girls."
"Some Girls," was just the beginning of Jameson's success as an artist, as he's since secured his second #1 with the song, "Cold Beer Calling My Name," featuring Luke Combs. While Rodgers is on a roll with his singles to Country radio, he also has a lot of gems that haven't hit the airwaves. Check out these songs by Jameson that haven't made radio — we think you'll love just as much as we do!
"In It for The Money"
Don't let the title fool you, money is the furthest thing from Jameson's #1 motivator. "The song is about how… There is no amount of money [that could replace] the feeling you get bein' on stage singing and hearin' people singing songs back to you," he told Audacy's Coop. "That's priceless."
"Good Dogs"
This song will open the flood gates for all the dog lovers. A beautiful tribute to the best friends and family members a human could ever ask for, this song is a must-listen and will have you hugging your fur babies a little extra after listening.
"Midnight Daydream"
We're throwin' it way back to 2016 with this song, but we just couldn't help ourselves! Anyone who has been a longtime fan of Jameson was likely roped in by this sultry single that has Rodgers dreaming of a past lover.
"Missing One"
A good break-up song is a right of passage in the Country music world and boy, did Rodgers deliver with this one! Everything about this song is beautifully crafted and perfectly encapsulates the pain of missing "the one" with a play on words that will have you reminiscing on better days.
"Rolling Rock, Rolling Stones"
Rodgers brings a new meaning to multitasking with this fun song all about the joy of Rock-N-Roll and ice cold beer. Full of playful lyrics that feature crafty double-meanings, this tune is sure to get any party started on the right note!
