Ian Munsick  is all set to join Lainey Wilson on her Country’s Cool Again tour, but if it were up to Munsick, it’d be called the Country Western Music’s Cool Again Tour.

LISTEN NOW: Ian Munsick is ready to bring the ‘west to the rest’ on Lainey Wilson tour

Since before appearing on Country radio, Musick has been preaching his motto, "bring the West to the rest" as he focuses on putting the Western feel back in Country music. Admitting he’s had a lot of help from other artists like those also on the Lainey tour (Jackson Dean, Zach Top) and shows like Yellowstone, the Wyoming native feels he’s been successful in his venture so far.

“I think that I had a lot of help from Yellowstone and other people like that,” he told Audacy’s Holly Hutton of Rob + Holly, "but it just feels like the time is right for Western to come back into Country.”

Munsick continues to spread the Western vibes through his music and songwriting with his current single, “Long Live Cowgirls,” as well as the title track to Cody Johnson’s new album, Leather.

“Cody Johnson’s brand new album, ‘Leather,’ I wrote the title track that’s on it,” he said before shouting out his former tourmate. “Awesome album. Cody Johnson, thanks for cutting it!”
