The singer-songwriter, who has the track, “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” featured on the movie’s stand-out soundtrack, got things started with a bang as he welcomed the cast on stage to shotgun beer with him.

Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Anthony Ramos, three stars of the movie represented the entire cast as they joined Combs on stage Friday night, greeting him with hugs and ice-cold beers in hand.

Combs shared the moment with fans beyond the show when he posted a clip of the events to social media writing, "Hey Twisters cast, what you say we shotgun one?!"

Twisters is a standalone sequel to the 1996 film, Twister, and features several standout artists on the soundtrack. In addition to Combs, it also features songs from Lainey Wilson, Thomas Rhett, Miranda Lambert, Megan Moroney, Jelly Roll, and more.

“This song is about everything that I think this movie is about,” Combs shared with Audacy of his song. “High-energy, high-octane, I think the song really musically matches that vibe. It’s really sort of abstract, lyrically speaking, I think that was done intentionally. We were really just trying to sonically match the vibe that they were looking for with this film.”

Twisters is now playing.
