Literal blood, sweat and tears went into Russell Dickerson’s show at the Mercer County Fair in Celina, Ohio on Friday.

The 36-year-old took to social media after his set to show his fans how his “cool trick” at the end of the show turned into a bloody finger.
“The RD PARTY got me last night!!!!” Dickerson wrote next to a video that shows him slamming two beer cans together on stage, shotgunning them and spraying the crowd. “Caught the sharp end of a can.”
“Should be fun to play guitar tonight,” Russell joked ahead of his show the next night in Jackson, Michigan. He then assured fans he was all “Gucci.”
The finger injury wasn’t the only mishap on the road for Russell this weekend. His wife, Kailey, who is currently pregnant with their second child, shared via social media the couple’s tour bus, carrying them and their toddler, Remington “Remi” broke down in the early morning hours.
Luckily, a second tour bus carrying Russell’s band was able to pick up the soon-to-be family of four and get them to the next city on time, but it didn’t come without some less than desirable sleeping arrangements and a very late night.
Safe to say nothing stops the RD Party.
Dickerson is currently readying to hit the road this fall with his Big Wheels & Back Roads Tour, kicking off September 21 in Philadelphia and running through November 11. He’ll be joined on all dates by Restless Road and select dates by Niko Moon and Parmalee.
