The “God Gave Me A Girl” singer and wife Kailey took to social media over the weekend to share the arrival of their second son, Radford Arthur, who joined the family on October 1. He joins 3-year-old big brother, Remington.
“Lil Rad man made his way into the world 17 hours after the show in Kansas City… Dad was dropped-off at the hospital on the tour bus and all,” the couple shared in a shared post with photos of their new family of four. “But we made it! Lil Rad is a dream baby and Rem is obsessed with being a super big brother.”
In a second, more detailed post surrounding her labor, Kailey shared her contractions stared while Dickerson was on stage in Kansas City, his last show before a long break.
“They hauled it home on the bus and I tried to sleep to slow everything down,” Kailey shared. “It worked till 5/6 am.” That’s when Kailey said she finished packing her bag and headed to the hospital with her mom, forcing Russell to meet them there.
“The bus pulled up to the hospital [at the] same time we were parking,” she shared “We were reunited 10 min after I checked in… and Rad man arrived 10 hours later.”
What a whirlwind! The family is now enjoying some well-deserved down time and and soaking up the early days of becoming a family of 4. Congrats, Dickersons.
