It was plenty loud on Locals Only Sunday night. I spent the first hour of the show with our Locals Only Artist of The Month of April, Seattle band Beverly Crusher. We talked about their upcoming performance at the Taco Truck Challenge this Saturday (5/4) at the Seattle Center. The band shared their taco rankings and we all discussed our dreams of having our very own t-shirt cannons. That would be so rad.
We also played a bunch of their music and showcased some friends of theirs like Wild Powwers, Antonioni, and Actionese.
In the second hour I was joined by Josh and Kyle of Duke Evers. Believe me when I tell you this is one of the best bands in Seattle and their live show is completely incredible. We talked plenty about their new album Dreams and Desires That Are Common To Youth which is will be released this Friday (5/4). We played some fantastic songs from the new album and talked about the band's upcoming release party at the Crocodile on June 8th. They will be joined at that show by Monsterwatch and Fuzz Mutt. This is going to be a very good show that you shouldn't miss.
