It's always fun when Kevin Murphy of Everett band The Moondoggies drops by the studio for Locals Only. This Sunday was no different.
Each of the last three Tuesdays in February will find Kevin Murphy & friends performing at the Tractor Tavern together in a Round style format. This means that they will all be on stage together taking turns performing and it is likely that they will collaborate or jump in on songs with eachother from time to time. The artists joining Kevin are all really amazing. People like Kevin Sur, Alexandra Niedzialkowski, Dean Johnson, the band Lake and so many more.
We played music from all of those artists while Kevin ranted about the state of the music industry and why it's important to him that these friends of his get their music out in the world. So you should really make it out to The Tractor for one of those nights of music.
We also played a great new song from local artist Jesse Solomon who recently sent his music to localsonly@1077theend.com. If you are in a local band and want your music considered you should do the same.
