I got to spend time with old friends and new on Locals Only this week.
In the first hour I was joined by our Locals Only Artist Of The Month, Eric Anderson of Cataldo. We spent the hour talking about his new album Literally Main Street which is easily one of my favorite releases of the year. We taked about some of the other great albums already released this year and those to come like the new album from Lemolo or from Great Grandpa. Most important though, we played a ton of the new Cataldo songs.
I can't stress this enough, if you aren't familiar with Cataldo go listen to all of their albums. Eric is one of the finest songwriters out there right now and we should all be enjoying his work to the fullest.
In the second hour we got to know Seattle band Dirty Rugs. We heard the story of how they came together and they were kind enough to let us play their new EP in full prior to it being released. Dirty Rugs will be releasing the Two Sides EP this Thursday night at The Bell Town Yacht Club. These guys have quickly become a new favorite on Locals Only so be sure to go support them.
