Guys... apparently, the ladies will find you less attractive... ie less dateable, if you are holding a cat.
Researchers at Colorado State University showed photos to over 700 women, one of a guy and then one with the same guy holding a cat. The ladies found the guy holding a cat less masculine and less desirable to date. Sadly, it didn't matter whether it was a short term or long term relationship.
Your only hope is if the woman descibes herself as a "cat person". Then it didn't seem to matter whether the guy was holding a cat or not.
