When I was in high school, I would spend countless hours, let alone dollars, in record stores. I loved the art of the packaging, reading the liner notes on the back. It was my music education! This is why Record Store Day is one of my favorite holidays of the year. A day where we get to pay homage to our independent record stores, and believe me, we have plenty of great ones in Seattle!
RSD was originally scheduled for April 18th but due to a global pandemic, it was postponed... then postponed again. Now, organizers are planning three smaller event Record Store Days - August 29th, September 26th and October 24th.
