Here's how to snag some Girl Scout cookies this year

Keeping contact down, the Girl Scouts turned to incredible partners to raise money in pandemic.

Thanks for the carbs, Girl Scouts of Western Washington

Just because cookie sales online are over, doesn't mean you can't still grab a box of your favorite Girl Scout Cookies in person. First off, Thin Mints are my favorite - cliche, I know, but if I could only have one box a year, this is my choice. The fact that Girls Scouts of Western Washington sent me a case may be excessive!

Now that I've got your attention by mentioning Thin Mints, shoot on over to participating QFC, Thriftway and Red Apple stores around the Puget Sound region to snag a box or twenty. What a cool way for the scouts to be able to raise a little extra money for great activities like summer camps. They're on sale at least through 5/25/21 - check out more info here.

"Proceeds stay local to power life-changing programs, experiences, and learning all year long!

When girls participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program, they also develop important life skills—goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics—that will set girls up for success beyond anything they can imagine."

I remember my mom, despite having three boys of her own, running a Girl Scout chapter because it was so important for her to help build a future generation of capable and ambitious women.
