The UW is asking us to stay home and view the brilliantly blossoming cherry trees on the quad from a livestream online.
The idea is to limit the transmission of the pandemic from one another by not gathering in giant numbers to see some flowers. I mean, the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is limiting people, too, so this isn't uncommon. Plus, if UW doesn't need any help spreading the virus, they have the Greek system.
