Stone Gossard called in to talk about his alt account's new single, "Blue Crystal" by Painted Shield. Their second record, 2, follows the self-titled release that dropped right at the start of the pandemic lockdowns hampering a lot of the fun we could have all celebrated at the time. Not only is their second record, but Stone reveals a third release could be close, too.
Drummer Matt Chamberlain (Pearl Jam, Critters Buggin, Saturday Night Live) did a lot of the conceptual things with writing on this record and shot the video for the single "Blue Crystal."
