It's been a minute since fans could pack into... Lum...en... wait a second, it wasn't even called Lumen Field the last time the 12s made a ruckus for opposing teams. Well for the first time since it's been dubbed Lumen Field, Seahawks fans will crowd the stands and thunder loudly for a proper NFL regular season game. To celebrate, the Seahawks hired a couple local performers to welcome everyone back.
The Seattle Times scooped that on September 19th, hip-hop and pop star Macklemore, joined by a man with passion-hands, Ayron Jones, to help take the full-stadium mood to the moon! Assuming things don't get shut down again... Neither man is a stranger to performing before big events at stadiums around Seattle, but this one feels like something bigger.
The Seattle Times reports that the concert fills the space between pre-game warmups and the team taking the turf at Lumen Field which of course means, if you're not headed to the Hawks game, you're missing out on this event. Thanks the wizard for YouTube...
