With summer slipping away and autumn on our doorstep, we might be forlorn about the sunshine packing up for the year but it means we're within reach of Seattle Kraken hockey! While the puck doesn't drop on the season until October, the training facility at Northgate is ready to roll.
Friday, September 10th, the doors kick open on the Kraken Community Iceplex. Three sheets of ice that will serve as the practice and training facility for the newest NHL franchise will also serve the local community offering youth hockey, figure skating, and plenty of regular public skate opportunities.
The Kraken break the ice of the new facility the weekend of September 10-12 with plenty of festivities planned.
