Weep Wave has been showcasing their driving, inspired energy through appearances all over the PNW and beyond (they recently returned from their first international tour in Japan) in support of their record "Speck." As a relatively new fan of the band, I find myself trying to compare them to Talking Heads, or even Shonen Knife, but after a journey through their catalog I'm quickly reminded that they are an entity unto themselves.
The band consists of frontman Dylan Fuentes, bassist Mitch Midkiff, and drummer/synth player Miles Hubbard, but to listen to them, you'd think there are at least a few more players in the band.
