Best known for their 1993 hit “What’s Up?,” 4 Non Blondes will officially reunite at BottleRock Napa Valley 2025 for their first show together in 30 years, and singer/songwriter Linda Perry is all in on the celebration, telling The Allison Hagendorf Show she wants 2025 to be her year.

Perry, who has penned tracks for Christina Aguilera, Adele, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, and others, says this year felt like the “right time” to get the band back together. “I’ve been kind of putting that energy out, because I want 2025 to be my year,” she explains. “I want to own this year because I feel like I’ve been planting seeds all over the place and I’m watching my little trees grow.”

The reunion happened, she says, after getting the offer for BottleRock. “And I’m like, ‘Okay, I knew this was coming,'” remembering at the time, “I’ve told the universe I want this to happen.”

After approaching the other members with the idea one by one, “they were excited,” Linda said. “So, I’m gonna go hang out with them in San Francisco, rehearse and just d**k around. Not really have a plan, but just see how it feels.”

Although, whether or not this reunion will bring about more music from the trio is anyone’s guess. “There’s a second 4 Non Blondes record that [was] recorded. I’ll leave it there,” Perry hinted. “It was pretty decent. [But] I just couldn’t do it. My heart couldn’t do it,” she revealed about the never-released follow-up to 1992’s Bigger, Better, Faster, More!

BottleRock Napa Valley 2025 is scheduled for May 23-25, 2025 featuring Green Day, Justin Timberlake, Noah Kahan, Benson Boone, Khruangbin, Cage The Elephant, Ice Cube, Sublime, and tons more. Take a look at the full lineup below and grab your tickets right HERE.
