“It feels like coming home… we’re from Newport Beach, but this whole strand of California… our songs are written here, we came of age here. So coming back home here… it’s an honor to be a part of BeachLife,” Mark said. Jestingly adding, “we turned down Coachella to be here.”

“There’s a lot of love, a lot of friendship, a lot of community,” Mark went on when ask to describe the festivals vibe. Calling out a few of his standout acts from the weekend which included, Tegan and Sara, The Pixies, and Travie McCoy.

“The fact that we’ve been asked back four times is just such a huge honor for us, it means they really appreciate us,” Rodney chimed in. “So we always try to pull something special out, we switch the songs, we learn some new songs…”

Mark continued to boast about the BeachLife experience, calling it “one of the premiere music festivals in the world,” focused on audience experience and not centered around high maintenance artists. Reiterating just how honored they are and continue to be “just a small part of it.”
