Trump 2020 Campaign Communications Director, Tim Murtaugh, joined discussing the misinformation being spread about the latest polls comparing President Trump to former Vice President and expected Democratic nominee, Joe Biden.
"We know that the President, for months, it has been consistent runs strong against a defined Joe Biden. What that means is, once people find out what Joe Biden's record is, the President smashes him."
Murtaugh continued, "For example, in Pennsylvania fracking and the natural gas industry is such a huge part of the economy. About 600,000 jobs are either directly in or related to the natural gas industry. Joe Biden has wedded himself to the Green New Deal. He's got Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as a policy adviser on his climate change committee inside his campaign. He has fully embraced the Green New Deal. That means death to the natural gas industry."
Murtaugh also told Zeoli the interruption to the economy was caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic and President Trump is the only person that can build it back up.
"They know what the President's record is. Look, he built the best economy that anybody in the American workforce had ever seen until it was artificially interrupted by the global pandemic."
Murtaugh concluded, "Until the pandemic came along, the economy was number one in the world and the best ever. The fact is he is the only guy, President Trump, is the only guy who can bring it back and build it up a second time. Joe Biden was crush it."
