Nick Gerace Of Protect Our Police PAC On Philadelphia Unrest
Nick Gerace, leader of the Protect Our Police PAC, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the unrest that has unfolded in Philadelphia following the police shooting of Walter Wallace, Jr. Gerace notes that now, it’s more clear than ever that now is the time for public officials to step up and protect our police officers and citizens. Gerace discusses policies of both District Attorney Larry Krasner and Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney that have been enacted during their reign, and the negative consequences the city has endured because of them. Protect Our Police PAC hopes to combat the ridiculous funding that District Attorneys and other decision-makers receive from questionable groups to change criminal justice policy in the country.

Philadelphia Councilman David Oh On Council Decision On Tasers
Councilman David Oh of Philadelphia returns to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the unrest in Philadelphia. Yesterday, the Dom Giordano Program uncovered that many officers in Philadelphia aren’t trained nor have the equipment to use Tasers due to budgetary cuts. 6ABC reported last night that when asking Council for the Taser training, the department was instead hit with a $14m cut. Oh explains why the Council voted against such a seemingly obvious thing to help police officers calmly handle situations like the one this weekend. Also, Oh mentions other bills that Council is considering, including one that would also ban the use of tear gas and other type of non-lethal force.
