Rep. Frank Ryan Wants To Impeach PA Justice David Wecht
Today on the Dom Giordano Program, State Representative Frank Ryan joins to discuss his call for the impeachment of Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice David N. Wecht. Rep. Ryan, hailing from Lebanon, PA, on Tuesday introduced HR1044, which criticizes Wecht for judicial activism, particularly through his support of Governor Tom Wolf’s pandemic shutdown orders. Ryan explains what it was that set forth the authoring of this bill, and tells why he believes the overbearing nature of an extreme Supreme Court is incredible damaging to both the constitution of the state and the United States. Also, Ryan points out the faults in the Fair Funding Formula, which was designated to equitably distribute state education funding across state school districts.

Yesterday, United States Attorney Bill McSwain announced charges of 15 members of the infamous La Cosa Nostra criminal organization, based largely in South Jersey and South Philadelphia. The Superseding Indictment charges various crimes including racketeering conspiracy, illegal gambling, loansharking, extortion, and drug trafficking. Among the names on the list are Joseph Servidio, aka “Joey Electric,” and Anthony Gifoli, aka “Tony Meatballs.” Dom and producers Dan and Anthony have some fun discussing their favorite mafia nicknames, and try to determine what Dom would be called if he were a mobster.
