The COVID Reporting Blues
Today, Dom led off the show with a discussion about Allen Iverson’s misstep on Instagram, by posting a photo with noted anti-Semitist Louis Farrakhan. Then, Dom gets into a heated discussion with producers Bill and Dan over a story out of Montgomery County, in which a baseball coach who knew he had Coronavirus attended a July 4th party, and refuses to turn over the names of other people at the party. Dom and Bill believe it to be his responsibility to share the information of others as safety needs to be the priority, while Dan believes that goes too far into “snitch” territory for his comfort. Also, after the Golden Girls home hit the market for $3 million, Dom asks listeners which fictional home they’d most like to live in.
Martina White on Wolf's Shutdown Extension
State Representative Martina White joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss Governor Wolf’s overbearing decision in extending the partial shutdown of businesses in Pennsylvania in the face of pandemic. Also, White comments on the importance of registering to vote and being informed for the upcoming election.
Matt Rooney of SaveJersey on Trump's New Campaign Manager
Matt Rooney, head of SaveJersey.com, joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the promotion of Bill Stepien to campaign manager in the Trump campaign. Rooney, who admittedly doesn’t know much about former manager Brad Parscale, knows Stepien well after the new campaign manager led the Christie campaign. Rooney notes that Stepien will know, very well, ways to effectively attack Joe Biden leading up to the 2020 general election. Also, Rooney and Dom discuss recent approval ratings of New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, which showed glowingly positive results for the Governor.
