Who Will The Philly FOP Endorse In PA's Gubernatorial Race?

Today, Dom Giordano led off the show with plans to announce a new 2 hour special based on the national rise in crime, and how it relates to progressive policies and decision-making. Then, Giordano discusses the decision by a local Republican organization to endorse Democratic gubernatorial candidate Josh Shapiro over Republican candidate Doug Mastriano, which causes concern for Dom when discussing who the FOP may endorse in the election. Then, Giordano offers more developments in the case involving the beating death of 73-year-old James Lambert by teenagers, telling that an attorney for another teenager who turned themselves in, Lonny Fish, joining after the break.

Then, local attorney Lonny Fish, representing one of the children involved in the beating death of 73-year-old James Lambert, joins the Dom Giordano Program to preview the defense of his 14-year-old client, telling about his client and telling he does not see how we would be safer by locking up. Lonny argues his point, telling that in the overall scope of gun violence and heightened violence in Philadelphia, putting a 14-year-old in jail would make no change. In addition, Fish provides in-depth details about the night, and how he believes the timeline to work out as the case moves on.

Lancaster County Commissioner Ray D'Agostino Joins After County Sued by Pennsylvania

In today's second hour, Dom welcomes back Lancaster County Commissioner Ray D'Agostino after an announcement that the county, along with Berks and Fayette counties, have been sued by the Department of State for being 'outlier counties' that have not correctly certified ballots from the primary elections. Ray offers the lawsuit from his perspective, telling that the county has properly certified the results in accordance with the PA Election Code, and tells that he and his office plan to continue to uphold the law as they see it after being sued.

Dr. Marty Makary on the Reboot of Coronavirus

Then, Dr. Marty Makary, professor at Johns Hopkins University, author of The Price We Pay, and columnist for the New York Post and other national sources, joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the re-igniting of Coronavirus warnings by the Biden administration and Dr.
Anthony Fauci. First, Dom asks Dr. Marty to tell why he believes this is making a return. Then, Giordano and Dr. Makary discuss the push to vaccinate children 6 months to 5 years of age, with Makary explaining the shocking results of vaccinating children and the strange response by the CDC. In addition, Makary provides his insights on multiple different facets regarding the virus, and offers whether he believes Monkeypox is something to be concerned about.

In today's third hour, Dom Giordano leads off by offering his perspective on the news story of a 10-year-old having to travel to receive an abortion, telling that the culprit was an illegal immigrant and explains why he thinks the story will be buried. Then, after playing Dom's Money Melody, Giordano offers an update on inflation and prices of common household goods and food. This leads Dom into a more general conversation on inflation, playing back a clip from Biden official Brian Deese who suggested the strategy should be more spending to counter inflation.

Keeley After Being Live on Scene of 15th and Market Shooting

Then, Giordano welcomes back Fox29 ace reporter Steve Keeley, who was on the scene for the breaking news story of the day, with a man being shot in the subway under 15th and Market, just outside City Hall. First, though, Giordano and Keeley discuss the departure of local businesses from the city of Philadelphia due to safety concerns, with Keeley reporting the bleak state of storefronts on Chestnut Street after a report of an upcoming Starbucks closure. Then, Giordano and Keeley discuss the decision by city officials to cancel multiple summer events due to the violence. After that, Keeley provides an in-depth detail of the shooting under 15th and Market, telling that it was two people, one being the victim, shooting at one another in broad daylight. Keeley contextualizes the story, telling about other horrific incidents playing out near the City Hall in recent history.
