The ‘Good Samaritan’ in Indianapolis Deserves To Be Lauded

Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by offering his thoughts on the horrific shooting in an Indianapolis mall, highlighting the ‘good Samaritan’ who put an end to the shooting by shooting and killing the shooter. Giordano explains how this is a great example of the safety that comes with legally arming individuals, and tells how he believes the Left will spin it. Then, Giordano spends a good chunk of the hour discussing the National Education Association’s convention, playing back a clip from Jill Biden in which she thanks Randi Weingarten for always putting the organization first, which angers Dom. Also, Dom plays back a clip from Fox News in which voters tell the network why they support DeSantis over Trump, and asks listeners whether or not they’d prefer one over the other.

Mastriano Still Needs to Campaign in Philadelphia...

In today’s second hour, 1210WPHT host Larry Steinhouse joins Dom Giordano to explain why Pennsylvanians have welcomed Doug Mastriano as the conservative candidate for Governor of Pennsylvania. First, Giordano and Steinhouse argue whether or not Mastriano should come to Philadelphia to utilize the crime spike in Philadelphia as a campaigning point to highlight Shapiro’s role in the lack of safety that Philadelphians feel daily. In addition, Steinhouse makes the point that he’s concerned that Dom’s critique of the candidate will scare off voters, with Dom arguing that answering critique and hard questions are instrumental to a successful campaign.

Then, Kathy Barnette returns to the Dom Giordano Program as the spokesperson of the 1776 Action Organization to discuss both topics of education and politics in Pennsylvania. First, Giordano tells Barnette that her book was featured front and center at a local Barnes and Noble he visited over the weekend, with Barnette telling listeners what they could find in her Nothing to Lose, Everything to Gain: Being Black and Conservative in America. Then, Barnette discusses her experience in a black woman in contextualizing the history of America, telling how and why she continues to portray relentless patriotism while society and culture learn more about the historical faults levied against people of color. Then, Giordano asks Barnette why she continues to refuse her support for Senate candidate Dr.
Mehmet Oz, revealing that she’s started having conversations with the camp and has to iron a few things out but does see the important value of electing Oz over competitor John Fetterman.

Philadelphia Doesn't Need A Center City Stadium

In today’s final hour, Giordano leads off by telling the audience about his feel good story of the day, playing back some audio of Joel Embiid at a wedding both dancing during the Horah and taking a ride on a chair. Then, Dom tells about a local news report of the syphoning of public employees out of Pennsylvania, offering his perspective as to why so many have fled their jobs in Pennsylvania. Then, Dom and Dan debate whether a stadium downtown for the Philadelphia 76ers would be beneficial after reports bubbled about a potential push by team ownership.

Then, Tommy Hicks, Co-Chair of the RNC, returns to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the strategy that Republicans plan to employ in the upcoming elections, as the GOP hopes to swing both the House and Senate in favor of Republicans. First, Dom asks Hicks about a report in The Hill that suggests that Republicans are trying to steal the Hispanic vote, with Hicks explaining the strides made by Republican candidates and the GOP in appealing to Hispanic voters. Then, Hicks tells of the strategy throughout the country then brings it more local, discussing how both gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano and Senate candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz can get ahead in Pennsylvania.
