Why Are We Volunteering Ourselves Up For Higher Taxes?

Today, Dom led off the show by discussing the big news centered around the infrastructure bill, reviewing his conversation with Representative Brian Fitzpatrick yesterday, a local Republican who voted in favor of the bill. Then, Giordano ties this to a conversation about the upcoming spending bill, and offers his opinion on what such policies would do to our country. Also, Giordano introduces the topic of the day, asking listeners which human they would send out to meet the aliens if they were to come to earth. In addition, Brian Kilmeade checks in to discuss his new book, The President and the Freedom Fighter: Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, and Their Battle to Save America’s Soul, explaining what the relationship between Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass can teach us, and how we could apply it to today’s political tensions.

Ciattarelli Refuses To Back Down, and ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Cookies Fly Off Shelves

In today’s second hour, Dom Giordano led off his show by welcoming back on SaveJersey.com’s Matt Rooney, an expert on New Jersey politics, to discuss claims by Governor Phil Murphy that Jack Ciattarelli’s refusal to concede is ‘dangerous.’ Rooney explains the situation, and lays out the hypocrisies throughout the state of Democratic politicians calling for audits similarly to Ciattarelli. Then, Stephen Simon, owner of JB’s Bakery in Burlington, joins the show to discuss a column penned by local columnist JD Mullane centered on the success of their ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ cookies. ‘Steve the Baker’ tells that the cookies have been flying off the shelves, and explains the story behind why he chose to introduce the political cookies to his menu. In addition, producer Dan takes over the show for his ‘Dan Time with Dom’ segment, today discussing the Astroworld tragedy and the Nikola Jokic fight with Markieff Morris.

Stephen Moore on the Economic Implications of the Infrastructure Bill

In the third hour, Dom leads off the show by looping in FreedomWorks Economist Stephen Moore, an economic expert regularly seen on Fox News and in the Wall Street Journal, to discuss the infrastructure bill that just passed through Congress. Giordano plays back a clip from yesterday’s interview with Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick concerning his vote in favor, in which Fitzpatrick explained that the approval of the bill is in effort of stopping the next $3.5T spending bill planned by Democrats. In addition, after playing Dom’s Money Melody, Giordano takes aim at famed radio host Howard Stern, who lambasted Aaron Rodgers for lying about his vaccination status.
