What is the Definition of ‘Woke?’

Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by offering his opinion on city officials after hearing a cross-promo with sister station KYW, in which Commissioner Outlaw warned small business owners of theft. Giordano expresses his frustration with the continued trend of elected officials refusing to accept accountability, noting who it is that’s responsible for the spike in violence in Philadelphia. Dom ties this to other Leftists who refuse to take a critical look at their words, playing back a clip of AFT’s Randi Weingarten who went over to war-torn Ukraine, and how the situation can advance if Weingarten finds herself in danger. Then, Dom plays back a clip from the Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth who allegedly doesn’t know what ‘woke’ means, offering up a definition of the buzzword that’s taken over politics in recent years. Also, Giordano tells of some breaking news out of the United States Supreme Court concerning mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania, with Justices siding with a conservative candidate that argued that undated ballots should not be counted.

Doug Mastriano Joins Live From Campaign Trail

In today’s second hour, Dom welcomes gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss his continued campaign against Democrat contender Josh Shapiro. First, Dom asks Doug about a recent surge he’s seen, referencing an article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that notes that Mastriano is quietly closing the lead of Shapiro, with Mastriano highlighting the unconventional nature of his campaign. Then, Giordano offers Mastriano some advice on the campaign, asking with the candidate hasn’t highlighted the continued spike in crime in Philadelphia.
Also, Mastriano tells Giordano what to expect moving forward for the campaign, and tells of an upcoming trip to Northeast PA.

Ray Didinger On Recent Success of Philadelphia Sports

Then, Giordano welcomes Philadelphia broadcasting legend Ray Didinger back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the recent success of Philadelphia sports teams, in particular the playoff run for the Phillies and the undefeated record for the Eagles. First, Giordano and Didinger discuss the success of the Phillies, with Didinger telling why he believes that the baseball Gods are on the side of Philadelphia this year after a stunning comeback in the Wildcard round against the St. Louis Cardinals. Then, Giordano and Didinger talk about the success of the Eagles, with Didinger explaining the importance of the quarterback position and why he believes Jalen Hurts may be ‘the guy’ moving forward.

Rep. Guy Reschenthaler on New SCOTUS Decision Concerning PA Mail-In Ballots

In today’s third hour, Dom welcomes U.S.
Representative Guy Reschenthaler back onto the Dom Giordano Program to get his thoughts on the race between Dr. Mehmet Oz and Democratic contender John Fetterman. Reschenthaler explains why he’s fully in the Oz camp, telling why he thinks he will win and why public safety and criminal justice will be the Achilles heel of the Fetterman campaign. Then, Reschenthaler offers his opinion on the news today that the U.S. Supreme Court has sided with a Pennsylvania Republican concerning mail-in balloting, telling what he thinks this means for elections moving forward. Also, Dom asks for Reschenthaler to weigh in on what issues he think is most important to voters in the upcoming midterm election.

Political Strategist Albert Eisenberg with Promising Polling Results for Dr. Oz

Then, Dom welcomes political strategist and co-Founder of Broad and Liberty Albert Eisenberg back onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a series of Tweets he made this morning concerning polling in Pennsylvania’s midterm elections. On Twitter, Eisenberg got Giordano’s attention when he wrote that Philadelphia has been polling over 20% for Dr. Oz, a shocking number in a City in which Republican candidates usually get blown out, largely swaying the state-wide election. Eisenberg explains what this means, and tells how and why Black and Latino voters are moving toward Oz and the Republican Party. Then, Giordano and Eisenberg discuss a New Yorker article that suggests Fetterman is the answer for working class voters, with Eisenberg instead telling that the majority of Fetterman support comes from radical progressives.
