DeSantis Proven Right Again, CollegeBoard Follows Lead on AP Guidance
Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing new guidelines set forth by the College Board centered on Advance Placement courses for African American studies, purging the names of many Critical Race Theorists, making Black Lives Matter curriculum optional, and requiring the teaching of “Black conservatism.” Many on the Left are scrambling to try and distance this news from Ron DeSantis, saying his similar stance did not encourage the AP board to make such a change, but Giordano has different thoughts. Then, Dom tells of the carjacking of former City Controller Alan Butkovitz, explaining the horrific situation and asking why Democrats continue to refuse to speak out about the havoc wrecked by progressive policies set forth by DA Larry Krasner.
How Do We Stop Rampant Philadelphia Carjackings?
In today’s second hour, Dom led off by discussing the situation involving former City Controller Alan Butkovitz, who was carjacked outside his Northeast Philadelphia home. This leads Dom and producer Dan to have a discussion about the heightened crime in Philadelphia, with both offering their analysis as to why Democrats continue to refuse to speak out against policies enacted by DA Larry Krasner, Mayor Jim Kenney, and Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw. Then, Dom tells of a delay on the congressional floor due to the pledge of allegiance, noting that it seems like a good start for House Republicans. Also, Dom offers his thoughts on the retirement of Tom Brady, and Dan, Dom, and Anthony DiRenzo from the Kayal and Dawn show discuss whether Brady is the GOAT.
Former City Controller Alan Butkovitz Joins Live After Carjacking
In today’s third hour, Dom leads off by telling about some pushback Philadelphia Eagle Haasan Reddick is receiving in San Francisco media, with analysts and fans calling for the player to apologize for injuring Brock Purdy. Former City Controller Alan Butkovitz joins Dom Giordano live on the show after a horrific incident last night in which he was held by gunpoint and carjacked while on the phone in front of his Northeast Philadelphia home.
Butkovitz retells the story of the carjacking and discusses with Dom things that the City needs to do to get the ever-growing problem under control.
Butkovitz, fresh off the crime, explains the responsibility that local officials and the Mayor have to get this epidemic of crime under control, even going as far as condemning policies that have enabled such violence, enacted by DA Larry Krasner.
