Republican Heavy Hitters Comment On Results Of Election Day
State Representative Martina White, Chairwoman of the Philadelphia Republican City Committee, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the shift of the Democratic party following yesterday’s primary election in Pennsylvania. The results are clear, according to White, and they read that the Democratic party has shifted away from their more moderate voters, now instead fully adopting a radically progressive agenda. Then, Martina White previews the party’s District Attorney candidate Chuck Peruto after a disappointing loss from Carlos Vega in the Democratic primary against incumbent Larry Krasner. After that, Giordano and White discuss the conclusion on the referendum vote, discussing why the first question regarding emergency powers was an absolute necessity to pass.
Also, Republican House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff returns to the Dom Giordano Program to offer his thoughts on the election, particularly the success of the first ballot question that reorganizes the emergency powers of the state government.
UFCW Local 1776 President Wendell Young IV On New CDC Masking Guidelines
Wendell W. Young IV, President of United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1776 Keystone State, joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the union’s stance on the CDC’s mask guidelines. Earlier this week, Young provided an interview to KDKA in which he made the argument that supermarkets should classify along with airports and other busy areas as places that citizens should continue masking. Giordano and Young duke it out over this issue, with Giordano making the argument that the CDC would’ve specifically grouped supermarkets into their announcement if they had meant for supermarkets to be grouped together. Also, Giordano and Young discuss the push by the union to get its workers vaccinated, and who would be responsible for determining who is and isn’t vaccinated and allowed to enter into businesses without a mask.

The concert will feature performances from Alan Jackson, Gladys Knight, Sara Bareilles and others, as they honor all of our American heroes for Memorial Day. Also, Sinise explains where his military advocacy came from, explaining the impact that 9/11 had on his decision to become an activist for veterans and first-responders.
