MLB's Decision Is Going To Bite Them In The Rear
Today, Dom Giordano led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the crazy decision by the MLB to move the All-Star game out of Atlanta due to a Republican voting integrity bill. First, Giordano asks ‘why,’ wondering what in the world the league is thinking in essentially telling half the country, being conservatives, that they don’t respect them. Then, Giordano tells of a 94WIP poll asking listeners whether or not listeners agree with the MLB’s decision to take away the All-Star game and draft from Atlanta over political issues, which has floated around 51/49 against for most of the show. Also, Giordano discusses the Pope’s continued support of Communist China and the hypocrisy that comes with speaking out on political issues while turning a blind eye to the human rights horrors perpetuated by China.
Do You Hear The ‘Boom Parties?’
Dom Giordano led off today’s second hour by discussing an issue that’s been popping up on his radar as the weather gets warmer. For the past 3 or 4 years, residents in the river wards in Philadelphia and who live near the river in New Jersey have been enduring non-stop bass pounding on warm weekend nights. The parties, which feature sound hobbyists showing off their sound systems to one another in Philadelphia, producing up to 175db of sound, have created sound pollution for one hundred square miles of South Jersey residents. Giordano explains that this is a perfect example of Philadelphia’s lawlessness having a true effect on suburbanites, and tries to determine whether or not he could do anything to help stop it.
