Gregg Jarrett on Derek Chauvin Case and Brooklyn Center Police Shooting

Gregg Jarrett, top flight attorney and Fox News analyst, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the fallout following the continuation of the Derek Chauvin trial and the tragic police shooting of Daunte Wright in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. First, Giordano and Jarrett discuss the Daunte Wright shooting, in which body cam footage shows the pursuing officer mistakenly using her gun rather than a Taser after Wright evaded arrest. Jarrett explains that the probable best way to deal with the Wright situation would be charging the officer in the realm of gross negligence, and see if the case determines any manslaughter charges. Then, Giordano and Jarrett move into a discussion about the defense of Derek Chauvin in the trial regarding the death of George Floyd. Jarrett and Giordano both note that they were quite unimpressed with the defense team, but Jarrett notes that it's an incredibly tough job defending the indefensible.

Why is New Jersey the 48th Worst State To Live?

Dom Giordano spends the second hour of today's show by discussing a new report which ranks states based on the best places to live. A poll from YouGov ranks all 50 states and Washington, D.C., from the best places to live to the worst, pitting states against one another in duals to determine the best and worst places to live. Giordano rattles off the top 10 best and worst, and discovers that New Jersey is one of the worst states to live, only surpassed by Mississippi and Alabama. Giordano wonders why some blue states, such as New York, are in the top 10 while New Jersey comes in near the bottom. Also, Giordano and Producer Dan discuss whether or not the list is correct with listeners, also revealing the differences in housing prices between states like New Jersey and another 'worst place' such as Mississippi.

Clarice Schillinger On Keeping Kids In School PAC's School Board Push

Clarice Schillinger, local mother and founder of the Keeping Kids in School PAC, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to provide an update on her organization as they gear up for the upcoming election season. Schillinger, who's joining Giordano for his PTA: Parents Taking Action Town Hall tonight on the station's Facebook page, tells that she's been working with school board candidates in 8 counties around Pennsylvania to combat the tendency of current decision-makers to disallow in-person schooling for children.
