The Slap Seen Around the World

Today, Dom Giordano led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the controversial situation at last night’s Oscar’s, with Will Smith slapping Chris Rock after Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, Will’s wife, joking that her haircut looks like she’s preparing for a role in G.I. Jane. Giordano discusses why he thinks Will Smith was wrong in approaching the stage, but notes that jokes about medical conditions should be off the table. Then, Giordano discusses the sad story of a child murdered senselessly in the Wissinoming section of Krasnerland, telling the story of a 15-year-old who was grabbing water from his father’s car when a stray bullet struck him in the head, leaving him braindead. Also, Giordano discusses gaffes made by Biden during his trip to Poland, discussing the detrimental nature of one particular gaffe in which he called for Putin to be removed from power.

PA State Rep. Amen Brown Looks to Curb Violence in Philadelphia; Dom Endorses Lt. Gov. Candidate Clarice Schillinger

To lead off today’s second hour, Pennsylvania State Rep. Amen Brown, who represents West Philadelphia, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss why he is publicly calling for something to change regarding the rampant illegal dirt bikes and ATVs in the city of Philadelphia. First, Giordano asks Representative Brown for his assessment on the underlying causes for the spike in violence in the city, with Brown telling that repeat offenders are getting off regularly leading to a lack of accountability and a feeling of lawlessness. Rep. Brown explains what needs to be done within the community of Philadelphia, with those who have shared experiences, to push back against the spread of violence. Then, Giordano hones in on the initial issue, asking Rep. Brown what he’s doing to try to stop the regular parades of illegal dirt bikes and ATVs, with Rep. Brown explaining a proposed legislation that will make it so government officials can keep confiscated vehicles rather than auction them back, many times with the original owner bidding on and winning back their vehicle.

Then, Clarice Schillinger rejoins the Dom Giordano Program after joining us this past Friday during Radiothon as she runs for Lieutenant Governor of Pennsylvania. After a conversation off air during Radiothon, Schillinger made the point to Dom that the Lt. Gov. runs independently from the Governor, which made Dom think that he’d like to endorse Clarice for the position. Clarice has been a mainstay on the Dom Giordano Program after involving herself in local elections through school board races after launching both Keeping Kids in School and Back to School PA, and tells why educational issues hold incredible importance to both her and her campaign.
Also, Clarice updates issues she’s fighting for across the state, and Dom officially offers his endorsement for Schillinger.

Gubernatorial Candidate Dave White Explains How He Hopes To Use Business Experience in Harrisburg

In today’s third hour, Dave White, gubernatorial candidate in Pennsylvania, joins the Dom Giordano Program for an introduction to the Dom Giordano Program audience. First, Giordano asks Dave White about his business background, with the candidate explaining his experience founding and running his successful Delaware County HVAC company with his wife, telling how that will apply to his life in public service. Then, Giordano asks for his past experience in public office, with White telling of his time spent serving in local office around Delaware County. Giordano asks White why he decided to involve himself in politics, with White explaining that shadiness by the Wolf campaign when determining which businesses could remain open through the pandemic was the kick he needed to want to get involved and run against the Governor. Also, White offers his opinion on the news of the most recent Republican Gubernatorial debate being removed from YouTube, telling that he has no idea why the big tech company decided to censor the debate.

Then, Pennsylvania Family Institute President Michael Geer rejoins the Dom Giordano Program, this time to discuss the shocking censorship of their Republican Pennsylvanian Gubernatorial Debate on Wednesday. The two-hour forum, hosted by 1210WPHT host Rich Zeoli, featured seven GOP primary candidates facing off. In an email to the Pennsylvania Family Institute, YouTube wrote, ‘Our team has reviewed your content, and, unfortunately, we think it violates our misinformation policy. We’ve removed the following content from YouTube.” Geer takes listeners inside the appeals process, and he and Giordano discuss what it could be that piqued the interest of the censors.
