The Weeknd Made Sure That Our Weekends Ended Horribly
Today, Dom Giordano led off the show with observations about last night’s big game featuring a win from Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers over Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City 49ers. First, Dom discusses the halftime show, which featured pop artist The Weeknd in a dizzying performance with a critical reception. Then, Giordano discusses the most important part of the day, President Biden’s first televised interview since the Inauguration on CBS. Giordano hones in on one particular moment in the interview, when reporter Norah O’Donnell presses Biden on the notion of getting children back in schools. After that, Giordano moves into a conversation regarding Hunter Biden after the President faced questions about his son, explaining the importance of ensuring that nothing curious arises out of Hunter’s past relations with foreign countries.
AFL-CIO Pres. Trumka Sticks Up For Police... Finally!
In the second hour of today’s Dom Giordano Program, Dom leads off by discussing Bruce Springsteen, after the raspy-voiced singer appeared in a Jeep ad preaching for a ‘middle’ in American politics. Producer Dan continues his long-term push to try and understand the Springsteen hype. Then, Giordano discusses the cancellation of friend Lou Dobbs’ Fox News show. Also, Giordano discusses comments made by AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, who defended police unions on racial justice sincerity to Axios. Giordano tells that, for once in his recent memory, is he agreeing with Trumka, something that’s forced due to an entire party’s dedication to bringing down and piling on police officers.
