NJ Gubernatorial Candidate Jack Ciattarelli on Rising Crime in New Jersey
Jack Ciattarelli, Republican candidate in the New Jersey gubernatorial race, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program for a discussion of Governor Phil Murphy's response to rising crime throughout the state, and the Left's response to community activity at the school board level. First, Ciattarelli and Giordano discuss the rhetoric of disbanding, defunding, or re imagining policing as promoted by the Murphy team and his recent Attorney General. Ciattarelli uses directives set forth by the Murphy campaign as evidence for his contribution to the rash of crime and negative connotation associated with policing. Then, Giordano and Ciattarelli discuss the response to Critical Race Theory being implemented in districts throughout New Jersey. Ciattarelli notes that only 10% of high school graduates recognize that slavery was central to the Civil War, so there's definitely an issue in race education, but Critical Race Theory is not the answer.
Clarice Schillinger Announces New PAC, Back To School PA PAC
Clarice Schillinger, now longtime friend of the show and founder of the Keeping Kids in School PAC, returns to the show to announce a great new initiative. Due to her recent success in school board primary elections, in which candidates she backed won 94 out of their 96 races, Clarice has secured up to $500,000 in donations from a Pittsburgh donor to continue her work, now under the name Back to School PA PAC. The donor, Paul Martino, committed to write up to fifty $10,000 checks to fifty concerned parents, activists, and organizers across the state that want to start their own Political Action Committees and influence their school board races.
