The Continued Seep Of Leftist Politics Into Suburban Life

Today, Dom Giordano led off the Dom Giordano Program with an update of the seething of Leftist policies into suburban, small-town politics. First, Giordano discusses the decision by Upper Darby to change the name of Good Friday to Spring Holiday on city calendars, a continued push to remove religion from all aspects of life. Then, Giordano discusses his first column written for the Delaware Valley Journal, in which he drew comparisons between Valerie Arkoosh and Dr. Anthony Fauci and noted the blind trust of suburbanites in these two 'experts,' who have suddenly abandoned the notion of following science to make decisions.
Then, Giordano discusses the notion of changing transportation taxes, noting his disagreement with Secretary of Transportation Buttigieg, who said late last week that a mileage tax could be on the table to help finance Biden's expected multi-trillion-dollar infrastructure proposal.

The Cancel Mob Takes On Captain Underpants

In today's second hour, Giordano leads off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the cancellation of a favorite in the realm of children's media, Captain Underpants. Last week, a petition started targeting author Dav Pilkey for his representation of Asian characters in 2010's The Adventures of Ook and Gluk: Kung-Fu Cavemen from the Future. In the book, Pilkey is alleged to use 'passive racism' in his representation of a Kung Fu master. Giordano discusses the situation, explaining why he's vehemently against Pilkey kowtowing to a vocal minority. Then, Giordano turns this into a discussion about other cancelled children's media, including Dr. Seuss, and wonders whether an apolitical series such as Berenstain Bears could find success in today's world. After that, Giordano discusses an interview between Mayor Kenney and 6ABC's Jim Gardner, in which the Mayor suggested that the school year would be extended into the summer.
