Trump Remains Banned From Facebook

Today, Dom Giordano led off the show by discussing the situation surrounding Facebook and Donald Trump, as a ‘supreme court’ of Facebook employees work to determine whether or not President Trump will be re-instated on the social media platform. Then, Giordano mentions reports of a rocket launched by China, which will face an uncontrolled re-entry into the earth’s atmosphere, placing Philadelphia, Atlantic City, and Dover in the path of a potential disaster. Then, Giordano reveals the state rankings for citizens vaccinated on a county-by-county basis, noting that Chester County has the highest percentage of residents vaccinated compared to the rest of the state.

Fmr. Congressman Bob Brady On Philadelphia's District Attorney Race

Congressman Bob Brady, now serving as a chair on the Philadelphia Democratic City Committee, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to dissect the upcoming District Attorney primary between Larry Krasner and challenger Carlos Vega. First, Brady and Giordano discuss the party’s lack of endorsement in the District Attorney race, with Brady explaining that in the past, the party has always endorsed a candidate in the DA’s race. This year, though, after leaving it up to ward leaders, the decision was too close to call. Then, Brady and Giordano take it to a national scale, debating whether or not President Biden has changed his approach to politics.

The Relationship Between Groceries and Politics

In the final hour of today’s show, Giordano leads off by discussing the influence that teachers unions have on the Biden administration’s CDC guidelines. Dom plays back a clip from Fox and Friends that has gone viral, in which host Brian Kilmeade ‘roasts’ a 6th grader for saying that President Biden is doing a better job than President Trump in his Coronavirus response.  Then, Giordano discusses his trip to the supermarket and discusses grocery inflation as it relates to politics, wondering whether or not there is a tie between prices of products such as eggs and policies that a current administration employs.
