Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill with an Update on Vaccine Passports in Pennsylvania

Sen. Kristin Phillips-Hill rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the passing of a bill in the Senate of Pennsylvania that would block the state, as well as any county, municipality, school district, colleges and universities, from requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Phillips-Hill takes Giordano and listeners through the entire fight to get this bill passed, explaining the pushback she received initially, which eventually subsided allowing the bill to pass. Phillips-Hill explains that, because of cybersecurity flaws, allowing vaccine passports are a dangerous notion as they can easily subject personal information from being shared. Phillips-Hill further tells of other stories of overarching Coronavirus restrictions on her constituents, explaining that the powers of the Governor's office need to be reined in as the ruling has become incredibly subjective. The bill now sits on the Governor's desk, and although he's noted he will veto the bill, Phillips-Hill hopes he reconsiders, particularly for the safety of children.

Fox29's Steve Keeley on Rampant Crime in Philadelphia

Steve Keeley, ace reporter for Fox29, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the heightened crime in the city of Philadelphia. First, Giordano and Keeley discuss the lifesaving efforts of police officers who respond to shootings, after police officers came under fire on Cecil B. Moore Avenue while trying to save the life of a 19-year-old man who had just been shot in the chest. Then, Giordano draws comparisons between the unwritten rules in the HBO show The Wire, and asks whether similar rules are being broken as the rash of crime increases. Then, Giordano and Keeley discuss the murder rate in Philadelphia as we creep toward 270 murders in the city.

Loudoun County's Ian Prior Updates on Fight against Critical Race Theory

Ian Prior, Executive Director of Fight for Schools and senior counsel for UnsilencedMajority.org, returns to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the concept of critical race theory and characterize the people showing up to school board meetings around the country, such as down in Prior's county of Loudoun County in Virginia. Loudoun County made national news last week after a fight broke out at a school board meeting. Prior characterizes both the school board members and the parents and citizens attending these meetings, explaining that many of the parents wouldn't usually involve themselves but are so inflamed at the thought of the 'antiracism' teachings of critical race theory and the actions of the board, that they needed to get involved. Also, Prior and Giordano discuss the framing and rhetoric surrounding the branding of antiracism and critical race theory.
