What Would You Like To Hear From Trump On The CPAC Stage?

Today, Dom Giordano led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the unfolding situation in Ukraine as Putin and the Russians invade and drop bombs on the country’s biggest cities. Giordano weighs the impact that the Keystone Pipeline would have on sanctions that Biden can place on the Russians, and argues the value of energy independence in situations such as these. Then, Giordano and producer Dan debate what they would like to hear from former President Donald Trump at this weekend’s CPAC conference, with Giordano telling why he thinks it would only hurt Trump if he were to dunk on President Biden. After that, Giordano takes callers offering countering opinions on the situation, with others telling why they’d like to see a show from Trump.

Head Organizer of the ‘People’s Convoy’ Joins Giordano

In today’s second hour, Giordano welcomes in Brian Brase, one of the organizers of the ‘People’s Convoy’ working its way across the country, with a multitude of truckers and citizens protesting governmental overreach during the Coronavirus pandemic. First, Giordano gets an update on the convoy from Brase, with him telling that they’re working their way through New Mexico today, and also revealing the multiple aspects of the Biden administration that the truckers are protesting. Then, Giordano asks Brase to respond to those online who suggest the convoy should be placed on hold while the Ukraine situation unfolds. Then, Giordano asks Brase for some information on what they will do when they arrive in Washington, and ask what they expect to face when they arrive in the Capitol.

Then, after spending most of the hour debating the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Dom Giordano welcomes back in media critic Neal Zoren to hear what’s worth watching on TV. First, Giordano asks Neal Zoren for his answer to today’s side question, asking Neal for his favorite episode of television of all time. Then, Neal Zoren tells us what’s coming up that he’s looking forward to, including the debut of the next seasons of both Ozark and Better Call Saul.

Dave Callahan of Marcellus Shale on the Importance of Energy Independence

To lead off today’s final hour, Dave Callahan, president of the Marcellus Shale Corporation, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the topic of energy through the lens of the Russian invasion into Ukraine. Discussion surrounding energy has reignited after the Biden administration has made it clear that they will fight Russia with climate in mind, and refused to put sanctions on oil knowing that our country needs it.
Callahan explains the benefit of being energy independent, telling how initiatives such as the Keystone Pipeline would have helped hugely in pushing back against Putin’s horrific actions. Then, Giordano spends the remainder of the hour providing updates on the invasion into Ukraine, taking callers offering countering opinions on who’s to blame, and how President Biden should proceed.
