Gregg Jarrett Recaps First Days Of Second Impeachment Trial
Gregg Jarrett, Fox News host and author of Witch Hunt, returns to the Dom Giordano Program to offer his thoughts on the ongoing impeachment proceedings of Donald Trump for his role in the insurgency at the Capitol on January 6th. Jarrett takes us through the first two days, explaining whether or not he believes the Democrats have presented enough evidence to convict the former President. Then, Jarrett contextualizes the impeachment, bringing up past threats by Democrats to impeach Trump a second time, prior to the impeachment hearings. Also, Jarrett notes what he'd do if he were representing Trump, explaining that he'd do a better job of providing contrasting incendiary statements made by Democrats against Republicans.
Matt Rooney On Springsteen DWI
Matt Rooney of SaveJersey.com returns to the Dom Giordano Program, this time for a discussion of the news surrounding Bruce Springsteen, after word broke this week that he was charged with a DWI back in November. Springsteen, who refused a breathalyzer after being pulled over, blew a .02 when he arrived at the police station. Many online are wondering how, if he blew such a low number, he could be charged with a DWI. Rooney explains that in New Jersey, when denying a breathalyzer, it usually ends there. That being said, in the rare case that something like this happens, it's still standard to move forward with charges based on whether or not there was impairment. Also, Rooney gives his thoughts on the primary fight for the Republican nominee in the New Jersey gubernatorial race.
The Underlying Effects On Disadvantaged Students From Lack Of In-Person Schooling
Beth Rosica, a West Chester parent and advocate for children's rights for 30 years, joins the Dom Giordano Program after being quoted in the Philadelphia Inquirer in which she tried reframing the rhetoric surrounding those who want their children back in school. Rosica, who is an advocate particularly for disadvantaged children, makes note of the negative effects on minority students, explaining how and why those that are hit the worst by the negative effects are those that need the most help.
