Dougherty Arrested, Was FBI Raid Necessary?
Today, Dom Giordano led off the Dom Giordano Program by discussing the decision by Congress to not hold session today in light of reports of a potential uprising at the Capitol, similar to that on January 6th, by Qanon. Giordano condemns the creeps, being Qanon, but explains why he feels Congress should not cower and instead indeed hold session. Then, Giordano touches upon a situation involving local labor union leader Johnny Dougherty, who was arrested by the FBI in a pre-dawn raid due to allegations involving conspiracy and extortion charges. Then, Giordano discusses new comments made by Dr. Anthony Fauci, who noted that teachers should move to the front of the line for vaccinations, and said all schools should update their ventilation systems prior to being able to reopen. Also, throughout the hour, Dom asks listeners and his producers for some first date red flags.
They Legalized Marijuana, Now They're Pushing For Shrooms?
In the second hour, Dom Giordano led off the Dom Giordano Program by giving his thoughts on Greg Gutfeld of Fox News, who went on a tirade supporting the legalization of psychoactive drugs, such as mushrooms. Gutfeld noted that in an effort to curb the heroin epidemic, the legalization of drugs other than marijuana should be openly discussed. Giordano is against this notion, explaining that a line does indeed need to be drawn when it comes to the legality of different types of mind-altering substances. Then, Giordano circles back to the early-morning raid of Johnny Doc and his nephew, which Dom again condemns as a bit radical of a reaction to the crimes they’re being charged with. Finally, Giordano tells that Joe Biden has yet to hold a press conference directly addressing the media, and wonders whether or not he will do so anytime soon.
